Gyre, is a force of nature meaning a spiral vortex, such as a swirling tornado or hurricane or more specifically The Great Pacific Garbage Patch. This is also called the Pacific Gyre and it consists of civilazations’s refuse and litter being wind driven by surface currents which become trapped in a large region out in the Pacific Ocean.
